Our Children's Lights:
In Children's Church this week, we read Matthew 5: 13-20 about Salt and Light. We tasted popcorn with (and without) salt, talked about how we can add flavour and joy just by saying things like 'please' and 'thank you'. We made tea light/torches out of battery lights and toilet rolls and talked about how there is no point to hiding a light under a bucket. We are called to be salt and light in our communities, to shine and show God's love to the people around us everyday. To paraphrase Micah: Be kind. Walk humbly. Show you love your God
