Sometimes when we are faced with a problem that seems almost too big for us to cope with, we tend to focus on the Hands of God, - we say, “It’s in God’s hands!” we concentrate on what has God not done for us, or maybe what we want him to do for us.
How would it be if instead we focused on the Face of God – simply, getting close to and getting to know who God is.
Often in the midst of our problem we stop short of the real blessing God has for us, which is a fresh vision of our God. When we stop focusing on our problem and on ourselves and focus instead on God, our problem, as the old hymn promises, “grows strangely dim in the light of God’s glory and grace.”
Patient endurance and hope and trust in our great God, helps us overcome the depression caused by the greatness of our problem as we see it. Remember – Nothing is too big for God, and nothing is too small.
